Open Question: I have a question for anyone that appraises antiques...?

In 1961, my father went to an Exhibition New York Yankees game in West Point, NY. He has a Team Ball, which he had signed himself by the whole team in their Locker room. We are going to get it professionally appraised, but we were wanting to get an idea on how much it may be worth after getting a Certificate of Authenticity.
